Wanigans

Just west of the bunkhouses are two wanigans, portable housing built by the Fairbanks Exploration Company for men patrolling segments of the Davidson Ditch. These wood-framed buildings have shallow-pitched gable roofs and tar paper covering the exterior walls. They were built on skids, designed to be moved.
