Riverfront Festival Marketplace

-A A +A
1984, Barker, Rinker, Seacat and Partners. Southwest corner of S. Santa Fe Dr. and Bowles Ave.

Sited along the Arapahoe Greenway and designed to look like an old waterfront terminal, this large market hall has a cruciform, skylit roof and vaulted ceilings. Despite splendid interior space and the prizewinning design, it succumbed to the 1980s oil bust and awaits reuse.
