This starkly Modernist three-story complex, a collaboration of Vail and Los Angeles architects, earned the praise of Architecture magazine in May 1986 for its massing, proportion, detailing, and strong relationship to its site on Beaver Creek Golf Course. The course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., spills down the valley, which is lined with luxury homes. The rustic Holden Barn (c. 1904) and picturesque farm implements adorn this exquisitely manicured golf course.
