Shrine of St. Anne Catholic Church

-A A +A
1920, Harry James Manning. 7555 Grant Place (at Wadsworth Blvd.)

Inspired by the Shrine of Ste.-Anne-deBeaupré in Quebec, this beige brick church brings a sophisticated Lombard design, colorful terracotta trim, and a landmark bell tower to Arvada. Inside are the wrist bone of St. Anne and rose-colored windows that shed dim, blood-red light under a barrel-vaulted ceiling.
