San Juan Brew Pub (Rio Grande Southern Depot)

-A A +A
Rio Grande Southern Depot
1891. 1991, Charles Cunliffe. End of S. Townsend Ave.

San Miguel County had gutted this lap-sided Queen Anne Style depot for heavy equipment storage. Charles Cunliffe, an Aspen architect, put it back together again and doubled the space to accommodate a basement microbrewery. The old depot now has a saloon inside and a beer garden in back on the San Miguel River.
