-A A +A
after 1903, J. A. Rodbird, builder. 28 9th St. NE
  • Mrs. S. A. Lawton House (Pamela Scott)

The French flavor of the Lawton house is the result not only of its Mansard roof but also of its elegant, self-contained proportions, ashlar masonry construction with corner quoins, and raised window frames. The architect is unknown; the builder erected the house for $4,700.
