Built for the developer and facing the neighborhood’s central hub, this two-story brick Federal Revival house set a tone of grand Southern gentility. Tuscan columns frame a central portico that supports a prominent entablature with projecting cornice and a balustrade for a second-floor balcony. A single-story screened porch and sunroom extend to the side, and an original garage with an upstairs apartment is located to the rear.
