The Craftsman-style house is clad in wood shingles and includes casement windows, and its low-pitched roof is distinguished by exposed rafter tails and large brackets supporting the raking gable. Kinzie Avenue boasts several catalogue bungalows of this general design, while Gordonston Avenue features a few grander examples of this type.
