Sacred Heart Catholic Church

-A A +A
1892, John Taini, builder. 307 E. Losoya St.

John Taini, one of the chief stonemasons on the courthouse, built this Gothic Revival church of rough-faced limestone. The church has a weighty square corner tower with a tile-clad spire. The parish continues to own the historic church although it moved to a larger building (1969, Christopher Di Stephano and Associates) next door.
