Thomas Stanley Jones House

-A A +A
1910, E. Wellington. 604 E. Main St.

The prosperity brought by the railroad is evident in this two-and-a-half-story Colonial Revival house constructed of buff brick with red brick quoins. The front portico consists of a trio of monumental Ionic columns at each corner and a one-story porch that slides behind the tall columns. The exaggerated roof overhangs may be evidence of Prairie Style influence. Welsh-born Jones was a prominent area rancher.
