  • Main House (Annex) (S. Allen Chambers, Jr.)

This vernacular frame structure sets the unpretentious architectural tone characteristic of Capon Springs. Porches with square columns and scroll-sawn balustrades wrap around all three stories. A louvered cupola, a feature found on many of the resort's buildings, draws hot air from the attic. The attached one-story, many windowed dining room dates from 1930.
