Middleesex County Women's Club (Old Courthouse)
1744, c. 1850, c. 1948. Virginia St.
Converted into a church after the removal of the county seat, the building served as an interdenominational chapel. By 1907, it was an Episcopal church. When the Episcopalians left in 1948, the Women's Club took it over. The Gothic Revival cladding over the original brick dates from the 1850s. In addition to the wings and lancet windows, the building had decorative bargeboards, which have been removed.
