Headquarters Building (Building 1555)

-A A +A
Building 1555
1943

Just south of Murphy Hall is the Headquarters Building, which recently underwent a $7 million renovation for use as the 6th Infantry Division (Light) Headquarters. The U-shaped building was constructed in 1943 as the post exchange, hospital, theater, barracks, mess hall, and administrative space. Gabled entrance pavilions break up the long, hip-roofed faces of this building.
