Malachi Grinnell House

-A A +A
Mid-18th century and later. 1948, addition, Blanche Borden Frenning. 60 South of Commons Rd.

This shingled half house (which may once have been clapboarded) is a typical Rhode Island form, but one now rare in Little Compton. The Greek Revival entrance enframement is obviously a later addition. Blanche Frenning's stepped-back wing is a typical alteration by this Little Compton designer.
