Canyon Rim Visitor Center

1991, S. E. M. Partners, Inc. Southeast side of U.S. 19, 2 miles northeast of intersection with WV 16 at Fayetteville, immediately north of New River Gorge Bridge

This handsome, natural stone and wood visitor center has a long, sloping roof that sweeps down to cover the entrance. Inside are an auditorium and exhibits on natural and historical aspects of the gorge, including the bridge. Walkways lead to platforms that provide views of the bridge.
