Plumas Neighborhood

-A A +A

This area, east and south of the Newlands neighborhood, contains more modest structures than those found on the bluffs above the Truckee River. The Mount Rose Elementary School (1912) serves as the focal point, surrounded by small bungalows, larger homes in period revival styles, and later tract houses built over several decades.
