In its evocation of a huge glacier, this granite and glass office complex, occupying an entire irregularly shaped city block, possesses an undeniable icy elegance. The primary entrance, at 13th and Main streets, is through the base of a soaring cylindrical structure that rises to an almost comical, Buck Rogers–like spire. The tower makes the view up 13th (from Shockoe Slip) or down Main Street a visual treat.
