The plaza is a mixed retail and housing complex that is essentially a modernist exercise, with a slight nod to Postmodernism in its alternately light and dark banded base, and above all in its blue gabled and hipped roof. Though there are taller buildings in the downtown, the steeply pitched gables and brilliant roof of this structure are visible miles away.
