The sharp and brittle angularity of the Eastlake style has in this dwelling nearly given way to the Queen Anne, but not quite. The center section of the house seems ready for an Eastlake tower; instead it is crowned on the third floor by a open porch covered with a gable roof. The entrance porch, which seems too small, swings around the side of the house and becomes a real veranda. A 45-degree cutin angled corner occurs on the second floor, looking out onto the triangular porch supported at the corner by a single column.
