Facing out over this house's extensive garden is a dramatic octagonal tower. On its third floor a gabled wall dormer projects upward into the spirelike roof. The dormer window is enclosed on each side by a pair of thick stepped brackets that support its gable ends. At the other side of the house is a round bay tower, cantilevered out from the second floor. In style this brick house is Queen Anne. One suspects that the two-story porch overlooking the garden, as well as the entrance porch, are later Colonial Revival additions.
