This stone-sheathed Richardsonian Romanesque dwelling presents a series of ornamented projecting gable ends. The entrance is a deep arched porch that leads off on one side to a walled terrace. The wide bay on the left is balanced on the other side by an octagonal three-story corner tower. The design, while romantic and picturesque, is highly controlled and contained.
