Hafter House

-A A +A
1922. 2507 McDonald St.

Designs such as this—a Prairie house in brick with a tiled hipped roof—reflected the work in the early teens of such Chicago-based firms as Spencer and Powers. The house also conveys the ambience one associates with the period revival designs of the time. On the whole, however, the house projects a lukewarm image.
