The client for this Spanish Colonial Revival house was the owner of a furniture store, and thus one assumes he was very much aware of the fad for the Hispanic in the mid-1920s. The home's entrance has been placed in a rectangular block which suggests a low tower. To the right of this is a recessed loggia containing a pair of Moorish twisted columns. To the other side of the entrance, the front wall swoops down and becomes a garden wall with a small gate.
