Worth County State Bank

Another of Northwood's significant contributions to American architecture forms the Beaux-Arts answer to the Prairie architects and their midwestern banks. The architect of this building has created a single two-story arched window held firmly in place by deep, horizontal, joined masonry piers on each side. Above, the entablature and cornice curve upward, mirroring the window arch below. Though the window has been filled in with glass brick, it still functions well.
