The design of this facility (which contains five playing courts) entails elements directly associated with several of the late churches of Eero Saarinen, together with features of the late 1930s Streamline Moderne. The straight-forward rectangular brick tower, with its pattern of large square openings, was a form often used in modern churches built in both Europe and America. The horizontal bands of metal corner windows on the body of the building take one right back to the Streamline Moderne.
