Part of a religious enclave created by the grouping of several churches of various styles, the Episcopal church is exuberantly High Victorian with the polychrome contrast of red brick and white trim, while a massive corner tower dominates one end. The interior is typically Virginia “low church” of the period, with a wide nave. A signed Tiffany window is in the north wall. Several other windows are by lesser American opalescent glass studios. The altar was remodeled c. 1920.
