The largest house on the base, set apart from the other officers' residences, is clearly the home of the commander of the depot. Brick walls rise two-and-one-half stories from a concrete foundation to a side-gabled roof. The symmetrical facade has a central entrance flanked by multipane, double-hung windows. The front door, set in a recessed arch defined by cast stone, is capped by a fanlight. Shutters, dormers, and brick quoins complete the Colonial Revival detailing.
