Cook Bank Building

The largest structure in Rhyolite, the three-story, reinforced concrete Cook Bank Building fell into ruin decades ago. Among the details still visible are quoins, piers scored to look like stone, an arched first-floor facade, and the remnant of a metal cornice near the roofline. A movie company that used the building as a film set in the 1940s added wrought iron balconies and frame and plaster arches and cornices.
