Built shortly after the completion of Las Vegas High School, this one-story Moderne structure was one of many primary schools erected in the early 1930s to accommodate rapid population growth in Las Vegas. The building has a symmetrical cruciform plan formed by the main rectangle of the building with a projecting entry and a small rear rest-room wing. Concrete-block walls end in stepped parapets hiding a flat roof.
