Cassimer Cramer built this bridge to replace one from 1830. The two-span, 162-foot-long, Burr truss structure is the longest of the ten covered bridges remaining in Somerset County. One arch is higher than the other, because the spans are different lengths. The bridge was updated in 1902 after a major flood, at which time the first iron rods were added. One mile south along the same creek, the covered King's Bridge is being restored.
