Franklin Public Library (Judge John S. McCalmont House)
This elegant two-and-one-half-story Second Empire house was extensively remodeled in 1921 by Samuel Brady for the Franklin Library Association, who reorganized the interior to accommodate the library's needs. The library's exterior is of a pinkish-colored brick, and it has wooden porch supports, prominent curved window hoods, and a mansard roof.
