Carnegie Building (Carnegie Library) and Administration Building, Lebanon Valley College
Reading-based Richter had an arc of clients that spanned from Easton to Annville (his birthplace), indicating the ongoing cohesiveness of German culture and situating Lebanon Valley College firmly in the past. His colonial-styled Carnegie Building and vaguely Academic Gothic administration building in light-hued yellow brick and limestone set the tone for the college's future forays into design.
Annville's Main Street shows the beneficial effects of being a college town. At its center (36 E. Main Street) is the restored Art Deco Allen Theater with its cinema and café.
