Smurfit Arts Center, University of Scranton (John Raymond Memorial Universalist Church)
This simplified version of Tufts University Chapel in Medford, Massachusetts, built originally for Scranton's Universalists is dominated by a brutally simple West Mountain rubble stone tower that rises like a smokestack from the building's corner. According to its architect, however, the style was Early Christian.
