Is there a more assertive military image than this tiny castle on Pottsville's main street? The front block with its stridently battlemented facade contains offices, while the drill hall is spanned by a shallow arched roof. The architects, from Wilkes-Barre, also designed the armory (now the borough building) in nearby Tamaqua.
