This one-and-one-half-story Greek Revival house with its full-width Roman Doric porch and pointed-arched windows on the side elevations suggests how the Simmons-Manchester house probably looked before its late nineteenth-century renovation, except that the original roof treatments of the two houses seem to have differed.
