Double Store Building

-A A +A
c. 1830. 107 Spring St. (northwest corner of Mary St.)

Greek Revival store buildings restored to something like their original appearance are rare. In this hip-roofed brick block with granite trim and a wheat-sheaf relief, the slotlike door to the second story with its small light for the stairs above is tightly squeezed by the stores on either side.
