Typical of the commercial buildings that lined the town's streets, The Arcade is a frame structure with a shed roof and an elaborately decorated pressed-metal cornice, window hoods, and bracketed stringcourse. The window treatments are noteworthy for their pattern of small square panes outlining the transoms. A one-story addition to the side bears a more elaborate pressed-metal frieze and sunburst arch over the cornice. Originally the building housed three separate businesses with rented rooms on the second floor.
