Norton United Methodist Church

Located on a hill overlooking the commercial area of the city, this brick church has a gabled front flanked by lower anterooms. Three tall, recessed pointed-arched entrances with heavy cast-concrete molding are Gothic in inspiration, as are the four sturdy buttresses that mark the central section. A rose window is in the gable. The formality of this building contrasts with the earlier vernacular churches of the area.
