Clifton

In 1890 the D&RG built a station around which sprouted Clifton (1900, 4,710 feet), a fruit-growing town. In recent decades Clifton has become Grand Junction's fastestgrowing suburb as orchards were bulldozed for the Coronado Shopping Mall and residential subdivisions.
