Beeville Art Museum (R. L. Hodges House)

The former R. L. Hodges House is decorated with a Colonial Revival double-level gallery. It was designed by an obscure Houston architect. Thanks to the Joe Barnhart Foundation, it is now the Beeville Museum of Art, with a regular calendar of exhibitions and programs. A block away, at 303 E. Fannin Street, is the contemporary-style Hugh L. Grove House of 1960 by Beeville architect Robert Jones Beasley.
