Built by the descendents of prominent German immigrant cabinetmaker Johann Jahn, this commercial building is noteworthy for the high quality of its three-dimensional brickwork detailing, especially on the second floor and the cornice. Next door at number 480 is a diminutive but well-detailed carriages and wagons building.
