Perhaps the most photographed group of houses in town, each one of this trio of Sunday Houses retains the exterior stairs that were the means of access to the low second floor of each, thus saving space on the interior. The central house was built for Heinrich Speier around 1865 and is of fachwerk construction, which is exposed on the front wall.
