Located on a steep bluff on the south side of the Colorado River, the Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill site is bordered by a stone wall adjacent to the steep roadway. The ruins of the brewery and the monument to fallen Texans are part of a state historical park. The brewery was situated in a ravine to take advantage of spring waters.
