Millersville is another of the regional subcenters with two churches on George Street, whose name probably reflects the main street of nearby York. A Gothic-towered German Reformed church (now Zion Church, 1871) at 317 N. George Street and a plain gable-fronted brick Methodist church (1870), augmented in the 1970s by a more contemporary sanctuary, mark the German/English cultural duality.
