Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

-A A +A
1949. 716 Broadway

This asymmetrical, two-story structure of red brick has a large bay extending from the east end of a cross-gabled wing with a portico on the south side. The building is trimmed in wood and cast stone and employs ornamentation and shapes in streamlined versions of classical elements. A thin, copper-clad steeple rises from the gable end of the projecting bay. The building has a prosperous look in a less than prosperous area.
