East 7th Avenue Parkway

-A A +A
1914, Saco R. DeBoer. Williams St. to Colorado Blvd. (NR)

East 7th Avenue Parkway's median plantings range from larch trees to floral extravaganzas, while the planting strip borders a variety of houses, including a most notable collection of Jacques Benedict's Beaux-Arts designs. The area along 7th Avenue between Logan Street and Colorado Boulevard, bounded for the most part by East 6th and 8th avenues, is Denver's largest local historic district. It comprises some 927 buildings, from grand mansions and apartment houses on the west end to modest bungalows on the east end.
