Deconstructivism came to Denver with this facelift of a boxy, International Style branch library. The new facade is a jumble of raw concrete slabs, tilting I beams, and purely decorative metal braces painted a bloody red. Spare parts spill out the front door, and wacky angles and exposed innards prevail inside in the cutout spaces and dramatized ductwork.
