George W. Bush Childhood Home

-A A +A
1940. 1412 W. Ohio Ave.

This 1,400-square-foot tract house with a bay window was the home from 1951 to 1955 of future U.S. presidents George H. W. Bush (and his wife, Barbara) and their son, George W. Bush, and other family members. The one-story wooden house is furnished to the time period of their occupation. Because the house is small, ticketing, exhibits, and a gift shop are accommodated in a neighboring house.
