House

-A A +A
1906. 2205 Forest St. (northwest corner of E. 22nd Ave.)

The stuccoed and half-timbered second story, exposed roof beams and rafter tails, triangular knee braces, sloping foundation, and full-length wrap-around porch make this red brick bungalow a picture-perfect example of the Craftsman style. The slightly pitched roof, shed dormers, and slanting porch roof seem to squint into the morning sun.
