Soaring above the horizontal campus, the chapel's seventeen spires consist of tetrahedral frames made of aluminum-clad steel pipe and stained glass panels. Principal architect Walter A. Netsch, Jr., gave this $3.5 million marvel separate Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish worship spaces. The glistening aluminum and glass abstraction, a dramatic Modernist reinterpretation of Gothic verticality, is Colorado's most famous church.
